Green Pea Stew

Quick, easy and cheap side-dish with antioxidants and vitamins.
Ingredients:
- Green Pea - 1000 g (2.2 lbs)
- Onion - 2 medium
- Milk - 1 l (33.8 oz)
- Sugar - 4-5 tbsp
- Flour - 4 tbsp
- Salt - 1-2 tsp
- Curry Powder - 2 tsp
- Dried Parsley - 2 tsp
- Parsley Leaves - 1 tbsp
- Oil - ½ cup
- Water - l cup (0 oz)
Instructions:
Heat oil in a pot. Cook the minced onion over medium heat for a few minutes until tender.
Add a cup of water and peas and cook for about 5-10 minutes, until the peas soften.
Mix together the milk and flour until smooth. Pour the mixture on the peas and add curry powder, salt, sugar and parsley. Stir well. Add enough water to cover the peas and bring to a boil.
Serve with fresh parsley leaves on top. Goes well with meat balls, sausage or fried eggs.
