Paprika gives such a special flavour to potato that it can be served as a main dish. Potatoes are cooked to soft in water.
- Potato - 6 medium
- Onion - 2
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Hot Dog - 4
- Sausage - 1 pair
- Sweet Pepper - 1
- Tomato - 1
- Oil - 5 tbsp
- Paprika - 1 tbsp
- Cumin - 1 tsp
- Salt - to taste
- Sour Cream - 1 cup
- Water - 2 cup
Slice the sausage and hot dog into 1.5 inch pieces. Dice the potatoes into small cubes. Peel and chop the tomato into small pieces. Chop the onions. Crush the garlic.
Sauté the onion in the oil until soft.
Add the sausage, and sauté.
Take the pan off the heat and add paprika, sweet pepper, potatoes and enough water to cover. Stir and bring to a boil, then reduce to simmer.
Add the sliced hot dog, tomato, garlic, cumin, and a pinch of salt.
Cook for about 30 minutes until the potatoes become tender. Avoid stirring too much to keep the potatoes not fall apart.
Stir in the sour cream and cook for a minute over low heat.
It can be served as a main dish. Spread sour cream over the top.
