- Flour - 500 g (1.1 lbs)
- Milk - 3 dl warm (10.1 oz)
- Yeast - 2.50 g (0 lbs)
- Oil - 5 tbsp cooking
- Sugar - 1 level tsp
- Salt - 2 ff
- Grated Cheese -
- Diced Ham -
Place the yeast in a warm bowl of milk and let sit.
Put the flour in a bowl, add the yeast mixture, salt, and oil. The dough should be soft. Knead until it separates from the wall of the bowl, but is still soft when kneaded.
Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and let it rise to double its size.
When risen cut into 3 mm thick rectangles. Stretch the rectangles and brush lightly with margarine, sprinkle with plenty of grated cheese and diced ham.
Roll the dough into a V shape.
Place on a buttered and floured baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
Brush with egg and sprinkle with cheese.
Bake in preheated oven until golden brown.
