An easy recipe for a deliciously moist cake.
- Butter - 200 g (0.4 lbs)
- Powdered Sugar - 120 g (0.3 lbs)
- Egg Yolk - 4
- Minced Almond - 100 g (0.2 lbs)
- Cocoa Powder - 6 tbs
- Flour - 140 g (0.3 lbs)
- Jam - 50 g (0.1 lbs)
- Chocolate Syrup - 4-5 tbs
Combine the butter, powdered sugar, and egg yolks until frothy. Stir in minced almond, cocoa powder, and flour. Finally add beaten egg whites.
Place the pastry into a buttered skillet and bake until done.
Let it cool down, and cut into two halves. Spread one half with jam and place the other half on top.
Sprinkle with chocolate syrup and almonds.
