A simple, old-fashioned apple cake recipe.
- Flour - 250 g (0.6 lbs)
- Yeast - 15 g (0 lbs)
- Sugar - 25 g (0.1 lbs)
- Milk - ½ cup
- Butter - 30 g (0.1 lbs)
- Egg - 1
- Salt - 1 pinch
- Apple - 1000 g (2.2 lbs)
- Flour - 350 g (0.8 lbs)
- Sugar - 200 g (0.4 lbs)
- Vanillin Sugar - 2 packet
- Butter - 200 g (0.4 lbs)
- Cottage Cheese - 500 g (1.1 lbs)
- Sugar - 2 tbs
Combine flour with yeast. Add a little sugar and milk, cover the bowl, and let it sit for 15 minutes.
Add the rest of the sugar, melted butter, an egg, a pinch of salt, and knead them together. Let the dough rise for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 200°C/390°F. Stretch the dough and place into a skillet.
Mix the cottage cheese with 1 packet of vanillin sugar and 2 tbs sugar. Spread the mixture on the dough, together with peeled and sliced apples.
Combine 350 g flour, 200 g sugar, 1 packet of vanillin sugar, and 200 g melted butter. Spread the mixture on the top of the apples.
Bake the cake until done.
