- Cherrie - 2 handfuls
- Currant - 2 handfuls (or other red berries)
- Breadcrumb -
- Margarine - or
- Butter -
- Vanilla Sugar - 1 pack
- Sugar - to taste
- Cinnamon -
- Sugar Icing -
Mix the cherry pips and the currants, sweeten with sugar to taste, refrigerate for half an hour.
Melt the butter or margarine in a saucepan, sprinkle in the bread crumbs, then add the sugar, vanilla sugar and cinnamon. Fry until golden brown.
In a deep bowl add the fruit, put it in the microwave for a few seconds.
Place a pile of crumbs mixture on top and serve with a little powdered sugar sprinkled on top.
