Chinese cabbage is used as it does not upset the digestive system as plain cabbage.
- Chinese Cabbage - 450 g (1 lbs)
- Sauerkraut - 200 g (0.4 lbs)
- Potato - 3-4
- Carrot - 3
- Turnip - 1
- Onion - 1 large red
- Hot Dog - 4
- Garlic - 1 clove of
- Salt -
- Pepper -
- Seasoning Salt - to taste
- Marjoram - 1 tsp
- Caraway Seed - 1 tsp ground
- Paprika - 1 tsp
- Paprika Cream - 1 tbs sweet
- Hot Pepper Cream - 1 tsp
- Garlic Cream - half tsp
- Parsley -
- Water - 2.5 liters (84.5 oz)
Clean the vegetables, thoroughly. Slice the Chinese cabbage, cut the potatoes in cubes, slice carrots, cut red onions into small cubes. Slice the hot dogs.
Soften the onion in a little oil in a frying pan. Add the potatoes, carrots and garlic once the onion has softened.
Pour in enough water to cover and bring to a boil. Flavor the soup with salt, pepper and a little seasoning salt, marjoram, ground caraway and paprika.
When the vegetables are just softened, add the Chinese cabbage and sauerkraut washed well. Pour in the remaining water. Then add the cream pepper and garlic cream.
The cut up hot dogs can be put it in the soup and cooked until done. Once the flame is turned off, cut the parsley using scissors over the soup.
